Christmas day, December 25, is one of the most anticipated days of the year. It is a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

It is a day to reunite with your near and dear ones, usually family and very close friends.

Homes are decorated with Christmas trees, festive ornaments and lights.

For the children there is an expectation that Santa will bring gifts and for the adults it can be a lot of planning and stress to buy all the presents and to make the day pefect.

After days, weeks or even months of preparation involving buying gifts, setting up Christmas trees and lights, shopping for food and preparing special lunches and dinners, the day arrives when families get together. It is one of the highlights in everyone’s calendar.

Christmas in July, however, is much more low key and not an occasion celebrated by everyone. It is an excuse to catchup for a lunch or dinner hosted by family or friends, complete with a Christmas theme without all the fuss and flare.
